The Witcher 3 Sabet Gelar Game Of The Year Di GDC 2016
Siapa sangka salah satu game besutan CD Projekt Red berhasil menyabet gelar Game of the Year 2016. Melawan beberapa nominasi yang bisa dibilang sangat berat, The Witcher 3 berhasil menyabet gelar Game of the Year Award dalam ajang GDC 2016 yang bertempat di San Francisco. Tentunya hal ini menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri untuk CD Projekt Red dalam wawancaranya bersama tim Gamespot.
Lawan dari The Wither 3 antara lain Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V, dan juga Bloodborne. Setelah sebelumnya pada GDC 2015 Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor berhasil meraih Game of the Year. Selain itu juga terdapat beragam game yang memiliki nominasi ganda yaitu Star Wars Battlefront (Best Visual Art, Best Technology, Best Audio), Bloodborne (Game of the Year, Best Design, Best Visual Art), Fallout 4 (Game of the Year, Best Design, Best Technology), dan Splatoon (Innovation, Award, Best Visual Art).
